About this policy
Effective 29 September 2026. These terms apply to CPL Tool Radar, a private newsletter summarisation service operated by Curious Pi Labs. Contact hello@curiouspilabs.com with questions about the service or these terms.
Access and authorisation
Use the service only with a Gmail account you own or are authorised to connect. The service is configured by an authorised operator and is not available for self-service public registration. Connecting a Google account requires your separate consent through Google. These terms do not themselves grant access to your account.
You are responsible for selecting appropriate newsletter sources and digest recipients and for having the necessary rights to process and share that content. Do not use the service to access another person's mailbox without permission, send spam, infringe intellectual property rights, or bypass security controls.
What the service does
Tool Radar selects newsletters using configured sender and date filters, extracts information about software and AI tools, retrieves linked public pages, and prepares scheduled email digests. Availability depends on Google, Microsoft Azure, email providers and the source websites. We may change, pause or discontinue the service, and will give notice where reasonably practicable.
AI-generated summaries may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. Verify important details with the original source. Inclusion in a digest is not an endorsement, and a digest is not professional financial, legal, medical or other specialist advice. Delivery at a particular time or to an inbox is not guaranteed.
Privacy and third parties
The Privacy Policy explains what information is accessed, how selected content is processed by Azure-hosted models, who receives digests, and how records are stored and deleted. Review it before connecting a mailbox or configuring recipients.
Third-party websites, email services and linked tools have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their content, availability or handling of information when you visit them. Original newsletter and website content remains the property of its respective rights holders.
Stopping the service
You may pause processing in the service settings or remove access in your Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorised Gmail access but does not remove digests already delivered or automatically delete stored application records. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security concerns, revoked authorisation, or a requirement of law or a service provider.
Your rights and service limitations
The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or error-free summaries. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
Subject to those mandatory rights, we are not responsible for third-party content or losses caused by unauthorised recipient choices, misuse of the service, or reliance on unverified AI summaries. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law.
Changes and contact
Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where required. Changes to Google data access or use will require separate disclosure and consent where applicable.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections. Contact hello@curiouspilabs.com to raise a concern so we can try to resolve it.
